Do we get exact programs with detailed reps, sets, loading, and progression?
Yes! In our OnlyStrength app you’ll get all the details, how-to videos, sets, reps, loading guidance, and progressions you need to train safely and effectively on your own right on your phone.
Do you offer training that is different for in-season, off-season and youth athletes?
Yes! You’ll have access to both offseason and -inseason programs. Just follow the one you need at that time.
Are the programs updated year round?
Yes, the programs are updated every two weeks.
Are there programs for athletes who have limited time?
Yes, we have programs where your athlete can improve with just 2-3 workouts a week.
Are we able to ask questions as we go?
Yes! You'll have direct access to ask me questions in our forum. I’ll be with you for guidance every step of the way.
Since 2016, Gerry DeFilippo has trained youth, high school, college and pro athletes full time.
In the past eight years since starting his performance facility, Challenger Strength, Gerry and his staff have overseen the development and training of over 150+ college and pro athletes across 61 (and counting) collegiate programs and professional organizations.
Gerry and Challenger Strength specialize in getting athletes to move faster, better and aid in their overall performance development to bolster their performance in their respective sports.
In addition to this, Challenger Strength serves as the official training provider for various collegiate and competitive club sport organizations in New Jersey. Additionally, Gerry has served as a special advisor to the New York Yankees' player development team since 2020 and continues to have his thoughts on speed training published in their yearly organizational handbook for all minor league and major league coaches and players.
Since 2016, Gerry has also had numerous articles published on major sites such as EliteFTS and Muscle and Strength highlighting his thoughts on strength and speed training for athletes.
